It's the week after the Obstacle Course Race World Championships - and Josh and Sandy were there, running all four events! On this episode, we discuss the weekend, specifically covering the 3k and 15k course options from both a competitive and journeyman point of view. The New England Spahtens had more people in attendance than many countries - and everything from podium placers (congratulations Marie!) to journeymen and fun runners!

Uploading this one again, as I broke it last time!

This is the last show dedicated to the 2018 NES elections. The 6 people you hear in this super short episode are standing for positions on the 2018 unopposed - so take ten minutes, listen to their ideas, and feel free to ask questions of anyone!

Josh and Sandy bring on special guest and Killington first timer, Linda Renee - and chat about the biggest, baddest Spartan Race on our calendar. Killington holds a special place for many - with many stories of DNF's, redemptions and achievements. They also talk about the Death March Party that saved so many racers days - with so many Spahtens at the summit handing out candy, water, hugs and motivation.

Firstly, I apologize for the audio quality of this one - there is an echo to the discussion I can't edit out - technical explanation below.

Secondly, enjoy almost an hour of chatter between Josh and our TWO special guests - Debbie Finnigan and Steve Russel - all of whom made the trip from New England to Texas to take part in the pioneer US OCR Championships! Hear what they thought of their first "Adrian" event :)

So, what happened to the audio?

I normally record with a USB mic and a pair of wireless bluetooth headphones. Right at the start of the show, my headphones crapped out on me, so I switched to using the speakers on my computer - unfortunately, my microphone picked that sound up - so as you hear others talk, you're hearing it twice - once from their recorded line, and twice from my speakers. I need new headphones, clearly. After so many episodes, thats a rookie mistake. Lesson learned - everyone needs to have headphones on!

Paul and Sandy bring Kelly on the show, and we talk about her first time running laps around the world famous Shale Hill, and how a first timer running Journeyman can get so much from the 24h event. We also recall some of our best Superhero Scramble memories - and send our best wishes to Ace's friends and families after last weeks tragedy.

Next week, Josh will be back with news of this weekends US OCR Championships!
